Well this week went by pretty fast. We keep switching back and forth between living with our members and living with the other elders because our members keep having guests over and we can't stay the night when there are kids over. I'm hoping that the decision gets made for us to just permanently move in with the other elders.
We had a couple of good lessons this week and spent all of Saturday doing service for a couple different people. We were helping a family in the ward move in some of their new furniture. While were we carrying a dresser down stairs I noticed that they had two teenage sons that were just sitting on the couch playing Xbox, I remember thinking that is was strange that they called us over to help when their kids were perfectly able to help. It was weird.
We had a kind of funny experience happened last week that I forgot to write about. We were going up to a house for a teaching appointment with a potential investigator. When they answered the door, we heard a dog bark from the back of the house. It came running out the door and ran straight past it's owner, my companion and the member we were with. Then jumped of and bit me on the leg, I kneed it pretty hard to get it away and it turned and ran back into the house. The owner just said, "Oh, did he bite you?" I told him that it did, and he just looked back at the dog and shrugged then said, "Ok, I'll just put him out back" It was weird that he didn't seem to be phased at all at the fact that his dog just ran up and bit a total stranger.
That lesson didn't go anywhere, he told us that we could come back in about 2 months, so I'm not seeing any progress getting made.
Other than that, this week was pretty good but nothing to crazy or cool happened.
