This week went by really fast. We officially have moved out of our members house and in with the other missionaries permanently. Which is awesome. Its fun to be able to hang out with other missionaries on any day of the week. Any other time your pretty much stuck with your companion.
We had a couple inactive members come to church this Sunday, it's probably just because of father's day but at least they came. One of them was someone that has told us that he never plans of ever coming to church ever again. But he was there and came out of his way to make sure that we knew he was there. A lot of people were really excited to see him because it had been such a long time.
We have one inactive member who we're working with that hasn't been to church in so long that we needed to explain the three hour block to her. The last time she ever went to church, it was split up throughout the week. But she has a near death experience and has decided that she should probably come back.
At the beginning of next month we get out new mission president. And with him coming they are going to be approving iPads for the mission. I'm not as excited for them as most of the missionaries. I worry that they are going to just be used as a crutch in lessons with the videos and stuff.
I think I'm getting to know the area a lot better. We haven't had to knock doors very often. We are encouraged to visit active and less-active members as more of a priority to tracting.
I think I'll probably have one more area after this. I've looked through the list of missionaries going home and the list of district leaders. When the new mission president comes in I'll be one of the older missionaries in the mission and one of the oldest District Leaders. Which makes me and a lot of other Elders convinced I'm going to be made ZL. Which I definitely wouldn't like. I found out from the AP's that when they went on exchanges with me in Saint Maries, it's because President has sent them out to "scout out" for new leadership in the mission. I think that's why I was put back as DL. President can sometimes be pretty predictable with transfer calls as far as leadership goes.
I think that i'll be ending my mission in the beginning of because that marks the end of a transfer. In that case, I only have 5 months left. If I'm held for the December transfer, I won't be home til halfway through January.
I guess only time will tell.
Well that's it. I hope you all have a good week
