This week was really, really uneventful. So I may as well go through my whole week haha
Monday was awesome, we went to Moscow and played ultimate frisbee for a couple hours which was tons of fun. And then afterwards we went to the Moscow institute (which is the first LDS institute of religion) and played played pool for a while.
Tuesday we tried to contact a couple potentials but didn't get anything from it. We pretty much street contacted all day, but had no success.
Wednesday we went on exchanges. I was with Elder Le. (pronounced Luh, rhymes with duh) It was awesome. We talked to tons of people, and I got to see how he talks to people. Hopefully I can apply what I learned from him, it might be harder for me because I don't have the "Asian Charm" But I think the biggest eye-opener for me was how many people on campus are willing to stop and talk. We had full conversations with 24 people and got the the contact information for 17 of them. we only were flat out rejected by 3 of the people that we talked to. It was cool.
Thursday we had to plan for the upcoming week, which takes forever. President Mullen established a time limit where we have to stop weekly planning when our time is up instead of taking all day to do it like some missionaries. I'm glad he made that rule, I never had an issue with taking to long but I know a lot of missionaries who would waste a lot of time doing it and would need to take up most of the weekend doing it.
I started to feel sick that night
Friday I woke up super sick and had Elder F. do my training at district meeting for me. Afterwards we went back to the apartment because my body was telling me I needed to sleep. So I told my companion that I wasn't going to set an alarm and just let my body do what it needed to do. I went to bed at 1:00 and woke up at 5:30. But only because members brought us dinner. We were going to eat with them that night but we figured it wasn't a good idea to get their baby sick.
On Saturday I was still super sick and slept a lot until we had a training on obedience from our mission president. In the training, he established some new p-day rules. Basically we don't have our two hour study block anymore on p-days. We just need to study for however long we feel we need to for the day and then go do p-day stuff. Then we went to stake conference but we had to leave early because I was too sick
Sunday I was still kind of sick. But I was well enough to walk around. I just didn't shake any hands
and today I feel better, but not perfect
well, that's it for the week
