This is last week's email. I'm also including bits form his Mother's Day skype call. I'll be posting parts of the conversation in future posts. I wish I had recorded the whole thing, but didn't. Maybe on his Christmas call.

Not too much happened this week, we drove up to Lewiston for a zone training. So that about as much fun as sitting in a room discussing missionary stuff for hours can be. An our way back when we stopped for food, we ran into a woman whose family we used to go visit every once in a while. Her and her husband are very devout Seventh-day Adventists, so pretty much every conversation turned into a discussion on whether or not the Sabbath is Sunday or Saturday. That got really old, haha actually we agreed on not discussing it any further because it was getting neither of us anywhere. We stopped going by there house a while ago, and she said that her husband has been bringing up that he wishes we would stop by again to discuss more stuff. Oh well, I think its a waste of time, but I guess we should at least give him a second chance.
We were in a discussion reviewing the Plan of Salvation with an investigating family. Their son from Kamiah came into the house and sat in on the last 10 or so minutes. He was just soaking in everything we said. at one point I asked if someone would read a verse from the Book of Mormon, he stood up and said, "I'll do it!" then practically ripped mine right out of my hand. it was hilarious.
After we were done teaching them, he just flooded us with question after question. One of his last questions was something to the affect of, " So, I have already been baptized in the church I've been going to for a while now, but if I started to come to your church could I be baptized into it?"
Of course we told him he could.
His mom, who is the most promising out of the family here in Orofino, asked us,, "If I were to be baptized... would I have to invite a lot of people to the baptism, or could I keep it really small?"
This family is pretty promising :P Actually the mom has already read most of the Book of Mormon, she says that she has never been a good reader but she likes the Book of Mormon because its the easiest book she has ever read and it makes tons of sense.
Well, that's about it for the week.
Love you all. Elder Rebalkin
