This week was rough as far as missionary work goes. There was a home game on Saturday at WSU and so all the college students who were "in the spirit of the game" heckled us a lot more than usual. It kind of made for a crappy evening. Plus on Saturday we found out about some stuff that happened with our investigators. To make a long story short, they are now separated and one of them is in jail. I'm not too happy about that. So yeah.. the end result is that they don't feel that now is a good time to continue looking into the church.
On the plus side, we got two really good potential investigators that we have appointments to meet with this coming week. One couple was a referral from some other missionaries and the others were neighbors with some of our members. Both appear pretty promising, and one wants to feed us dinner when we come over, so that's cool.
We also went to the temple on Tuesday, it was good, as always. We went out to eat afterwards. Its always fun to get to know other missionaries.
I went on exchanges with a new missionary on Friday, and on Saturday I conducted my first baptism interview for one of the sister's investigators. (she passed) Both experiences were pretty cool.
On Saturday morning we helped out with the "Interfaith Food Drive" for the food bank. It was nice and we didn't really have to do to much. However, I was surprised by how many people were pretty rude to us about it, which doesn't make sense. Oh well, we were only there for an hour and the people in charge appreciated the help.
That's about it for the week
