We had a pretty good week this week, we weren't able to have another lesson with our investigators, but he came to church again (his wife still had to work) and he seemed to really enjoy it. He stood up and introduced himself in priesthood. Part of introducing himself he said, "I've only came to church twice. But I like it here, I'm glad to be here." He and his wife have been reading the Book of Mormon and praying together every day and he says that he can already feel it changing him. It's awesome. We hope to have a lesson this Wednesday with them. We had been planning to teach him the Plan of Salvation next and at church as he was showing us the chapters that he and his wife had found as they were skimming through chapter headings. Three of the chapters he had bookmarked to read were Alma 40, 41 and 42, which are all about the Plan of Salvation (mainly life after death) He said that he and his wife really wanted to read about that. So we hope that is a good sign haha
Another cool thing that happened this week was when Elder F. and I were walking around campus at about 8:00pm. This guy came up to us and told us that we should come with him. We went around the corner and there was a group of people all standing in a big circle singing songs. He told us that he wanted us to praise God with them. There were some people playing instruments and one person was shouting out lyrics to the songs they were singing so we could all sing along. It was actually a lot of fun. After they were done singing we split up into groups and sat on the ground. We did "popcorn prayer" where one person would pray and then when they were done then you could take a turn. It was interesting because the way it was done reminded me of a testimony meeting. Afterwards one person came up and talked to us and then told us that he wanted us to meet with him and teach him some stuff. We hope he's not one of those people who just wants to argue.

On Friday and Saturday we helped volunteer at the Lentil festival. On Saturday night we walked around with "Tasty the Lentil" and helped people take pictures with him. And then went and had some of the free chili they were serving. It was fun and we got to talk to a lot of the other volunteers there about what we do as missionaries.
We also helped out at the food bank again. It was really fun. They had me help people load groceries into there cars. Almost everybody I helped noticed my name tag and started asking me questions about the church. One woman even said, "I probably shouldn't tell you this, but I'm actually a member. I just haven't gone to church in a couple years." I was able to help talk her through some of her concerns.
We'll be going back this Wednesday also, We were told that because school starts this week, there will be a lot of people and most of them will be young, married students with little kids. :)
On the 13th of September we are going to be helping out at the Interfaith food drive.
Well that's it for the week!
