Unfortunately, I don't have a new companion yet. Elder C. got the news that he was approved to go home on Thursday and flew out on Friday. I'm staying with the Timberlake ward's missionaries up in Spirit Lake. Its been kind of frustrating.yesterday. I asked President Mullen when he thinks I'll be getting a new companion and he said that he doesn't have anybody for me and that I'll just have to do the best I can in out trio for a little while.. So the three of us have to cover both areas until I get a new companion. I really dislike being in a trio, it's super awkward. I had the idea to just go on splits with one of our priests for Saturday so the Timberlake Elders could do what they needed in their ward and The member (C.) and I could go out and visit everyone on a big list of names that I never saw with Elder C., but was supposed to. So I got permission to spend the day with C. and do that. For some reason the Timberlake elders were uncomfortable with it even though I had permission.
C. And I got a lot of stuff done on Saturday and talked to a few less active members who said we could come back.
On Sunday The other elders came with with me to sacrament meeting and then they had meetings for their ward that they had to go to, so they did that and I spent the last 2 hours with our ward mission leader. I realized that after our church would get out, Timberlake's would still have two more hours and I wanted to get more stuff done. We figured it would be a good idea to spent the rest of the day on splits to keep visiting people we need to see and to just have C. drive me back to Spirit Lake when we were done so we could get things in both areas done.
Before heading out with C., my ward mission leader stopped me and gave me a list of names I should go and see. So C. and I went out and started contacting people. We had a lot of success and I wanted to just keep going (so did C.)
