My last week here in Rathdrum was pretty good. Our inactive member that started reading The Book of Mormon has been on fire and has been asking a lot of questions. He has been learning a lot and is pretty excited. There is definitely something different that people feel when they start to read it. We just always hope and pray that people notice that the difference that they feel is the Spirit.
We also had a really good lesson with our investigator, we taught him about the Plan of Salvation. It was a really good lesson and he asked a lot of questions. After the lesson he brought up a lot of things that he has had questions about, he seemed satisfied by our answers.
Our ward here in Rathdrum is being swept in by the sisters that are in my district, The two areas are being combined. I'm really hoping they teach him a little longer and get him progressing before they pass him to the YSA. We just felt like he needed to be a little more on fire with looking into the church before we throw him into a whole different ward. The same concern goes to the less-actives we're teaching. They keep trying to council us on how we "should" be teaching them. maybe I just disagree with the fact that a lot of missionaries teach inactive members that are returning to the church, the same way they would treat and teach non-members you are looking into it. I just hope they don't mess up the progress that we've made.
Oh well, I look forward to this coming transfer. I've heard good things about my new area. Plus I'll be in a Jeep and our apartment has a washer and dryer, which I've never had :)
